Interest Rate remains unchanged!

The South African Reserve Bank left its repo rate unchanged at 5.5% on Thursday as expected, with concerns about a slowing economy off-setting the pressures from inflation, which is likely to stay outside its target band for longer than previously expected.

René Haggis


With solid experience in the recruitment and selection of staff across all industries, René Haggis was appointed to head up our recruitment and placement division. René brings to IBN a broad range of working experience in a number of sectors, ranging from Administration and Hospitality to Education and I.T. Prior to joining IBN she worked as a Consultant and Director at a recruitment consultancy and has successfully set up and run her own business. She is fully au fait with all aspects of recruitment and search, favouring the competency-based approach.

René was educated in Cape Town and has lived and worked in South Africa, Germany, France and the UK. Her first-hand experience of how business is conducted in these countries has proven useful in assessing the suitability of candidates for placement in diverse work environments. She comes from a cosmopolitan background, speaks fluent German and English and some French which enables her to assess the language competencies of candidates as well as their adaptability.

René has an established database of candidates to suit every position. She has been successful in placing staff at all levels across numerous industries, and takes great care in matching candidates to companies and ensuring both parties' expectations are met. She screens candidates thoroughly to ensure that only top-calibre candidates with the potential to add value are recommended to our client companies.
