Internships

IBN Recruitment specialises in arranging meaningful practical work opportunities for school leavers, students of tertiary institutions and young professionals in South Africa. Internships are a relatively unknown concept in South Africa and internship seekers who try to secure a placement through a company directly are often unsuccessful in their attempts. With our extensive, long-standing business connections in the local market, IBN Recruitment is the ideal partner to assist in the search for a meaningful and suitable opportunity, and to tailor make it to suit the individual’s needs. In addition, we act as a competent advisor on local issues before and during the internship period.

Over and above this, we assist young people who would like to carry out their civil service in South Africa with the realisation thereof. Engaging in humanitarian or voluntary work can be an enormously fulfilling and enriching life experience, with the added advantage of allowing one to improve on one’s language skills. IBN undertakes all the necessary steps to ensure that such a stay is recognised as the equivalent of civil service duty by the relevant foreign authorities.
